For September, I want to keep it pretty simple, as people come back from taking the summer off. So, we will be doing a medley of Guide Me to Thee and Lean on My Ample Arm . If you are unfamiliar with these hymns, I encourage you to click on the links to each hymn above and listen to them. They both have beautiful messages. But what I really love, is that they are in the same meter...meaning you can sing one to the tune of the other. And Lean on My Ample Arm is the answer to the prayer that is voiced in Guide Me to Thee. These hymns were meant to go together! We will be using the tune of Guide Me to Thee and will sing the 1st verse of Guide Me to Thee, then the 1st verse of Lean on My Ample Arm, followed by the 3rd verse of Guide Me to Thee and ending with the 2nd verse of Lean on My Ample Arm.
